5/20過ぎに植えた「綿の花」
川崎市多摩区の手打ちそば処「とみくら」の奥さんに貰った綿の種を、一晩水に付けて３粒植えてみました。
その内２つが芽生えて、１ヶ月弱でこのくらいに成長しました！
奥さん曰く、この種はインド綿などと違い、鳥取から取り寄せた和綿の種の子孫だそうで、格調高い物なのだそうです。

But I do say, that in all disputes between them and their rulers, the presumption is at least upon a par in favour of the people.
